Diploma on Preschool Education Financially Promoted by ‘Rahama’ organization – Vavuniya
The inaugural session of the Diploma Course in Preschool Education, was held on the 6th June, 2015 at the Management Centre of Zonal Education Office, Vavuniya North, Pulyankulam. The diploma course was funded by ‘RAHAMA’ organization. The session was chaired by the Deputy Director of Education, Planning Vavuniya North Mrs. Devika Umadevan.
Secretary General, Rahama Mr.Marikkar, the Chief Executive Officer, Aaruthal Mr.Sundaram Divakalala, Director, ECCD unit, Ministry of Education, Northern Province Miss. Jeya Thambiah, Deputy Director of Education, Planning Vavuniya North Mrs. Devika Umadevan, Assistant Director of Education, Preschool Education of Vavuniya North Mr.Rajeswaran, officers of Aaruthal and the preschool teachers who are going to follow the course participated at the session. The guests were welcomed with garland and led them to the hall. The traditional oil lamp was lit to mark the commencement of inauguration of the function. The session commenced at 02.30 am. The guests addressed at the session.
