Diploma in Preschool Education Financially Promoted by ‘CARE international – Vavuniya
The inaugural session of the Diploma Course in Preschool Education, was held on the 6th June, 2015 at the Management Centre of Zonal Education Office, Vavuniya South. The diploma course was funded by CARE – International.
The guest were welcomed with garland and led them to the hall. The traditional oil lamp was lit up to mark the inauguration of the function. The session commenced at 10.30 am.
The session was chaired by the Project Manager, FOSDO Mr.Kamalaruban. He welcomed the guests and the Preschool teachers who are going to follow the course for the year 2015/2016. He also briefed about the activities carried out by FOSDO in the past.
CARE – International financially promoted to train 44 preschool teachers in Vavuniya district.

Jeya Thambiah, Zonal Director of Education, Vavuniya South Mrs.Anton Somarajah, Deputy Director of Education, Vavuniya North Mrs.Sahayarajah, Assistant Directors of Education, Preschool Education of Vavuniya North and South Zones, Mr.S.M.Rifaideen Officer from FOSDO and representatives from CARE international participated at the session.
